My Thouqhts On Scorpion pqs 1-22

The book that I am readinq is called Scorpion. What I think about this book so far is that in the beqinninq it is kind of interestinq because I think I read books that are similar to the kind of problems Jamal has. But the book is about how Jamal is dealinq with alot of problem; like dealinq with his Mother, Teachers, Principal, etc. They are always on his case like when he is late to school his Principal is always yellinq at him complaininq about why he always late to school. His teachers is always on his case because since he never does his homework she always askes him if he did when she knows he doesnt do it. Then he tries to play it off sayinq that there was no homework on the board and his Teacher qets really anqry. He also has problems with his mother because she has to deal with Jamal's brother beinq in Jail and always takes her fustrations out on him like shes stressed or somethinq. I think this book so far is qood. I just can't wait until what happens next in the story.

What had happened in the story was that wen Sprig was about to leave class a friend of her had an anouncement to make and it was that he was going to have aprty at his house and that everyone was invited. So later on that night, Sprig and Dakota went to the party. It was like a party for kids that was Dakota's age and also a party for kids that was Sprig's age. During the party Sprig didnt have anyone to be with because her and her best friend wasnt talking because of an argument that they had. So Sprig and the boy that had invited her was alone in his kitchen and was talking.Then he showed how some people be kissing when they greet each other. She wanted to tell her best friend but she reminded herself that they wasnt talking. So when she went back to the living room she saw all the older kids kissing. It was mostly the boy Dakota had a crush on that was kissing almost all th girls. He was trying to break the world record to see how many girls he can kiss in a certain amount of time. Then one of Dakota's friends came up to Sprig and told her that Dakota was in the Kitchen crying and wanted her to go to her and ask her what was wrong. So when Sprig went up to Dakota and asked her what was wrong she was giving her attitude and saying that she didnt want to talk about it. But after Sprig told her that she was just trying to help and that if she didnt tell her what was wrong she could just sit there crying and have no one to talk to. So Dakota listened to her and told her that she saw her best friend kissing her crush and she got very mad and that she missed thier dad and that she had a lot of stuff on her mind.

What had happened in the story was that Sprig's sister always got on her nerves. Her name is Dakota. She expects Sprig to do everything she tells her to do and she is always bothering her. Sprig gets so angry with her she thinks of 10 ways to make her sister to disappear. While they was on their way to bringing their father to the airport where he was going on a business trip. Sprig didnt want him to go because he hardly ever spent time with them because he was always busy at meetings. While Sprig was asking him questions, Dakota was telling her to be quiet because she was making him nervous. Those were one of the things that made Sprig so angry.

RRQ-UNFORGETTABLE

What Had happened in the story was that Tinsely was convincing Dean Marymount if she can host a movie in a barn off Campus. Dean Marymount didnt want to say yes to her because the last time they held a party off Campus, everything got caught on fire. Tinsely kept on Convincing him and he told her yes but anything that went wrong she will be responsible for it. So since she was allowed to have the movie in the barn, she let everyone know about it and they all couldnt wait to go. the day had finally came and everyone was arriving at the barn. as the movie went on, nobody payed attention to the movie because they were either making out or drinking or something. Since Jenny was alone, she went to go look for Callie. When she found her she was with Easy, and she couldnt believe her because they both promised that they was going to put Easy behind them. Which she didnt. Jenny got so angry she just didnt know what to do. She stormed off angrily and just took a walk. While she was walking she heard someone call her name. It was Julian, her new crush. She went up and talked to him. They talked for a few and they got caught up in the moment and kissed. Tinsely was always wondering why Julian was never with her anymore. So there she was looking for him with his lighter in his hand. So while she was looking for him she saw him kissing Jenny and she got so angry that she wanted to scream. But she just threw his lighter and just walked away. Then all of a sudden the barn got caught on fire. It had caught on fire when Callie was smoking with Easy and flicked their ciggerate onto the hay. Now Callie was blaming the fire on Jenny because of the arguement they had before and started telling people that Jenny did it which wasnt true. And the person who made the barn catch on fire would get expelled. They found Julian's lighter (which Tinsely threw) and now some kids think that Julian did it.When neither Julian or Jenny did it.
